Why did lord Ram appear on this planet many yugas back... Is it because he wanted to kill the Ravna? Well lord is all powerfull why he need to take birth for killing a macchar like Ravna...
This he could have done easily from anywhere...
So then why lord came... He came to perform lila so that his devotees can be happy in the years to come by hearing his transcendental passtime.
Trying to glorify lord Ram by my words is almost impossible.. Because lord shesha with thousand of his mouth is still trying to glorify the lord..
So on this auspisious day I pray to lord that I became more serious about my spiritual life..
